Men's Group
When: Third Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm Details: This is a group especially for men, which meets for friendship and fellowship at The Royal Oak  public house in Blisworth. It is ‘pay as you go’ and we normally have a drink and a meal together. The conversation is not ‘religious’, but every day and the group is open to any men who would like to join us. Look out for a group of men in the bar or ask the barman if you are unable to find us. We look forward to welcoming you. Currently suspended until further notice.
The Julian Group for Silent Prayer
When: Second Monday of every month from 5-6pm Details: The Julian Group for Silent Prayer - making space for God. This group is intended for those who wish to deepen their awareness of God in silence, within the fellowship of a group.  Recognising the efficacy of silence, we meet together in the solitude of a private home to hold our families and neighbours, our cities and country, our world and planet in silence and prayer. Everyone is welcome to join the group to ‘taste and see’ or on a regular basis. For more information contact Sue Cutts on‭ 01327 354077‬ or Hilary Spurrier on 01604 859181. Currently suspended until further notice.
The Monday Group
When: First Monday of every month at 2pm Details: No one else can really know how we feel when someone we love dies. The emotional pain can be quite intense at times, especially when we feel that no one understands what we are going through and there is no one to share our grief. Grieving is part of the human experience. If we are attached to someone we will mourn the loss of that relationship and miss that person’s physical presence. It is also a path that most of us must travel during our lifetime and for some of us, a path we must walk several times. The Monday Group is a bereavement group, which meets at Holy Cross Church, Milton Malsor, to offer friendship and support to those who have suffered a loss. It is open to anyone who has been bereaved, whether recently or many years ago. Please join us if you would like to; you will be made to feel very welcome. Currently suspended until further notice.
